We collect only what is necessary to run the app:
We do not collect your real name, phone number, location, or payment card details.
Your player inputs and campaign context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate DM responses. Anthropic processes this data under their own privacy policy. We do not use your session content to train our own models. We recommend you do not enter real personal information into campaign narratives.
When voice narration is enabled, DM response text is sent to ElevenLabs to generate audio. This is processed transiently and not stored by us. ElevenLabs processes this data under their own privacy policy.
When scene image generation is enabled, scene descriptions are sent to fal.ai to generate images. Images are not linked to your account and are processed transiently. fal.ai processes this data under their own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Your campaign and session data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at the address below, and all associated data will be removed within 30 days.
DM Engine is rated 17+ and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS) and row-level security policies on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via the app or email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after that point constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
